Hello All! Just wanted to say hi. I recently bought my first Mustang. It's an 86 GT convertable5.0 5-spd. It's maroon with grey gut and black ragtop.

This is my first time with a 5.0 Mustang and actually my first fuel injected performance car. I'm looking to pick a LOT of brains on this site to get as much info as possible about 5.0's.

I'm an old school Musclecar guy. I've owned about 15-20 Musclecars over the past 20 years. A buddy of mine bought an 86 GT brand new in 86. Unfortunately it was no match for my 67 GTO but I've always liked the looks of the 86 for some reason.

As you can see I have a preference for stick shifts. As far as I'm concerned automatics are for girls and all out drag racing.

I'm looking forward to learning as much as possible from you 5.0 guru's.
