Default Finally got a '73 Mustang

Got a Mustang finally, she's in pretty good shape. It's a convertible, been garage stored. Been spending the last couple days to get her started, I've replaced her plugs, wires, points, condenser, dis. cap, rotor, coil, battery, ind. solenoid, and the filters. First she was turning over real smooth now it just turns on? I;m gonna replace the starter, I'm thinking the starter plunger has gotten old... car sat for 8 years. I'll post later if starter did the trick.

Other than that, I'm very interested in really upgrading the suspension and engine. All suggestions are welcome. Or email me at bstonewhere@yahoo.com .

Drive Offensive!

Welcome; my first car was a 72' "Sprinter" with a 351 Cleveland and I really loved that car. Please post some pics.

Default ...update.

Looks like I have to replace the starter this weekend, after that and wash and wax, I'll get some pics up. I'm going to start a new thread in 'Classic Mustang'. Look for pics there. Till then.

The last of the great ponies. Sounds like a great car. You can really work on those. Welcome to forums.
