Default New and looking into getting a STANG

Hey everyone Im new here and I had some questions to ask, sorry if this is the wrong spot. Im 17 almost 18. My family has long been a Ford family since my grandpas days. My first car was an 87 F150 I saved up and paid $600 for, I drove it for a few months then later picked up a Honda Prelude for $1000, I wanted a Mustang (always have) but at the time my dad didn't want me to get one because of high insurance costs and are location would have been hard on the car (we lived up a dirt road at the time) Now Ive been driving my honda for around a year but I want to upgrade to something new and sporty. I decided I want to live my dream and have a Mustang. My price range is around $2000 and Ive been looking into mustangs between the years of 94 and 98 (the SN-95 ones). My question is whats expect of a Mustang? as far as handling, maintance, and daily driving stuff? Is it worth getting rid of a front wheel drive gas mieser rice burner and stepping into an american rear wheel drive sport machine? I have a friend who has a mustang and loves it but she says its hard to handle in the winter. I live in utah so theres lots of snow. Also what can I expect to be different for a V6 and V8 besides noise power and gas mileage? What's different? Ived decided I will probably go for a coupe instead of a convertible as well. Thanks

WELCOME TO MF'S

If you want a mustang then buy one regardless of where you live.
