Default Looking to buy my first 'stang

Hi all, I am looking to possibly purchase my first Mustang. I am looking for a
'99-'04 GT, but would also consider an earlier Cobra. I am just weighing in some opinions of theirs and little things I should look for when I check one out. I am familiar with GM F-body's, but am new to the Mustang scene. The good thing, where I live is like Mustang country and there are tons, and I mean TONS of them here, so I have lots to check out. I was thinking like an
'01 GT, black with black leather. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums! If you can afford a Cobra (insurance wise) then I suggest you get one. When looking at a potential Stang try and get one that is as close to stock as possible, preferably stock if you can find one. Chances are if it is bone stock they didn't beat the crap out of it. Good luck with your search.

Found a 2000 Black GT here in PA with 68,583 miles on it for $10,900. Sounds pretty good to me. It is completely stock. I was just wondering are there any little things to look for that could become bigger with time? I know on GM F-bodies, the t-top seals like to leak, and can cause rust on the center beam, and ruin the interior in time. Things like that. Thanks!
