I just bought a 2005 mustang GT 2 mths ago and im very happy with it. Its red with black leather seats and the shaker 1000. it has 43k miles on it and looks great. its totally stock.
This has become my new focus, to fix up my mustang and make it custom to me. I want bigger tires and new crome wheels. Im gonna get a short throw shifter, a raptor shift light, and quater panel louvers. Im also gonna tint the windows and add a functioning hood scoop or new hood. Rocker panel stripes, lowering springs, small antenna and caliper plates.
as for the engine, well i have alot to learn and read here on the forums before i finnaly decide what to do. Im far from a gear head. im basically a 26 yr old newbie, but i do have some experiance on working on cars. I have owned camaro's , pontiac trans-am 89, 87 mustang. I wanted to go to school to become a mechanic but the school i went to didnt have it so i took electricity instead. i got a great job at alabama power and make great money .
I was thinking about getting a CAI & tune from breenspeed. some nice axle backs. 4.10 gears, but i also want more power so im thinking about a kenne bell super charger or a bigger engine. but first things first. wheels, exaust and short throw shifter.

Guess what just happened this morning on the way home from work. I hit a big fu***** dog going 60 mph! I totalled my front bumper, blinker, headlight, and blinker wire connectors. DAMN! I got a 500 dollar deductible too. oh well this gives me a reason to get one of those custom front lips bumpers I been wanting.
