Mustang Enthusiast from Baltimore, MD!
Hey everyone! My name is Brian and I'm just now getting around to introducing myself on here even though I have been a member and avid lurker for about a year now.
I just wanted to say that this forum and all of the members that make up this place are great! I've spent hours upon hours just scouring threads, checking out pictures and using the "how-to's". Many of the questions and concerns I had with my car were easily answered with a quick use of the "search box". I also had the pleasure of picking up my first mod (BoomTubes) from a local forum member, discodave, a couple of months ago! (Thanks again, Dave. They sound amazing!)
Anyways, to give a bit of history, In 1998 I had a 98' v6 stang that I absolutely loved. It was Atlantic Blue Pearl and aside from a cold air intake and torque converter, it had a bunch of "show mods". It was the first car I loved, and made a Mustang fan out of me for life.
After a brief stint with a Jeep Liberty, Mitsubishi Eclipse (complete junk) I realized that I needed to get back to my roots and buy a Ford. In 2004 I picked up a new Sonic Blue SVT Focus and even though it handled great and was a cool small car to zip around in, I longed for a mustang again. Last year I was lucky enough to stumble upon a used (1-owner leased) 2006 silver Mustang GT with a manual tranny, charcoal leather, low miles and low enough price. Needless to say I was happy to "get back in the saddle". The mods have slowly started to trickle in, and remembering back to my first stang I know that its going to be a fun, long journey!
Thanks again to the forum for all he know-how, and I look forward to being part of the family!
