Good luck and search is your friend re Mustangs. As an example I sold my 05GT with 5000 miles 3 syn oil changes Flowmasters tint Steeda short throw shifter and springs and 193 coats of polish/wax. There was ONE rock chip on the hood, other than that it was perfect. I drove it like Grandma stole it (really slowly lol). Oh I sold it after owning it for 4 summers and I was in a hurry to get rid of it for my newer ride. I guess I am saying there are deals to be had if you look long enough.

I really love the looks of the new ones, what all internally would need to be done to put some power into one?

Welcome CSpanky to MF, from beautiful British Columbia, Canada!

You'll find a nice stang for the price you're in...around 13K
They're out there...just take your time, get it checked out and you'll find the 'right one!'

If you're a young guy, the insurance might be a little high...you'll have to 'shop' for that, as well...

Good Luck

Larry

Welcome....

03-04 MACH 1 low mileage can be had for 13k 14K. Great platform to build upon (solid engine) & then you got 6k to play with.

I completely agree. Insurance is the killer. Insurance is what is holding me from a GT at the moment (Well, that was. Now other things are holding me back. Lol). Make sure you know what you will be paying for that.
