Default voltage problems please help

So since iv had this car at exactly 4500rpm my voltage drops. My lights all dim, the car stops pulling and it realllllyyyy pisses me off. I just put brand new plugs and wires in it last week. Still nothing changed. I unplugged the altenator and made a quick pass and the volts didn't drop at all. Wtf? I have msd ignition would that have anything to do with it. Or is my altenator just fried. No clue what's goin on here but I'm sick of loosing races bc I have to shift at 4500.

And that's with everything off. No radio, no heat, no extras at all. Even during the day with lights off still dose the same. Also when I have my system on the volt drops every time the sub hits. I planned on getting a new altenator but wanted to make sure that's what it is before I sped the money on something I don't need
