Vista and The Diva thanks much for the elaborate write ups on paths to take, seems like two slightly varying opinions. I will be looking into both.

Unfortunately the racing side I enjoy is the more expensive one, I take an occasional trip to the 1/4 mile, but I much rather enjoy road course racing.

With that I will look towards small increases in power (CAI, tune) then straight to suspension work.

As for warranty with a tune, my last vehicle i had a warranty and it was tuned, when i took it in for service, i loaded the factory tune and had to run up 30 miles on it. Is it the same on the Ford side of the house?

Welcome to the forum! I agree that the CAI and tune with an exhaust are the first spots to hit, unless you want appearance mods to be done. I personally just bought a 2013 GT Premium and had them put the ford racing shifter in. I'm getting ready to order the Boss 302 quad exhaust and H pipe along with the gt 500 axel back, and cut out the resonators. I also really want the sound of a muscle car, before I start hitting the extended power of one/appearance
