Red face first mustang

Just bought my first mustang don't have any buyers guide. Problem is when I stop at a light the car does not roll back is this the way a mustang should act. It is a straight drive. I put brake pads caliper closed easy and rotors didn't have scratches or out of round. this probably sounds silly but just don't know much about a mustang.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks

What do you mean it does not roll back? Is it a manual and not rolling on hills or what I am slightly confused here? The 2013+ Mustangs have anti roll back on the manuals. The older ones did not though far as I know.

THAT IS CORRECT IS IS A MANULE SHIFT BUT WHEN U COME TO A STOP THE CAR DOES NOT ROLL UNLESS THE GRADE IS QUIET STEEP. I WAS TOLD SOME MUSTANGS DID NOT ROLL TO HELP WITH THE CLUTCH. SOUNDS LIKE I MAY HAVE A MORE SERIOUS PROBLEM.

I doubt its an issue at all, just most likely meant it was not a steep enough hill to matter. Not something I would worry over, if the cars running fine.
