Default power issues

I just bought a new battery after thinking my old one had gone bad but had to jump it as soon as it was installed and had to jump it 2 other times. Turning on the lights, heater, or pressing the brake takes up too much power resulting in the engine shutting off due to lack of power. Alternator is only about 3yrs old and recently installed a new starter. What could be the cause that i can't find on my own?

well if the engine shuts off due to lack of electrical power to run the components on the car.....maybe check the alternator.

but having to jump the car to start it, with a brand new battery cant be good. how recently was the starter installed, any issues with installation?
