Default timing issues :(

hey, im new to the forums and I just completed my 347 stroker build and im having a difficult time trying to get my timing right. im running a DSS block with forged pistons and Anderson N51hr cam. it is converted to carb and has a demon 650 on top of weind intake. I have the current timing at 20* and it runs descent but I don't know what the true timing would be at. any tips to find the right timing??

Welcome, but if you want more responses you may want to post this question in the Fox/SN tech forum. But did you advance timing till it pings/knocks under a load then backed it down a couple degrees to come up with your 20° your at now?
