help fuel pump running continuously, relays clicking constantly
I really need some help guys. I have a 1990 mustang LX convertible with a efi 5.0 with an aod transmission. I drove the car everyday and then parked it and it sat for about a year. When i went back to try to start the car this is what happens: I turn the key to the on position and the fuel pump comes on and wont cut off, the fuel pump relay under the set is clicking constantly along with another relay on the passenger side fender(not sure what it is, WOT relay maybe?) ok, while all this is going on, the coil also shoots a spark every time the relays click.. Im completely stumped on what this could be. I have replaced the ignition switch, the pip sensor, the coil, the tfi module tested good. Can anyone please point me in the right direction before i go and blow more money on a ecm. Any help is very much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.
You'll get more help if you start a thread in the Tech section, 79-95 subforum, there's some very knowledgeable guys in there. Have you tried swapping relays for the fuel pump ?
The spark at the coil sounds like a bad coil to cap wire.
