So i recently got a 65 mustang with 289, and want to put more HP. I would like to get up to range of 400 horses and was thinking of going with a crate engine and getting a new transmission. Thoughts on which way I should go and how to get there? I'm not looking to take it to the track or race. I would like to keep it a cruiser, okay maybe a sleeper. Nothing crazy, just want to have some ***** under the hood with the proper mods. I live in nor cal. Thank you in advance
