New member need build help
Hey folks...I joined a long time ago but never got around to posting anything. Now I am back on and am at the point of scratching my head on my build. I have an 81 Capri with a 306(.030 over 302) out of a 71 Torino as well as the c4 that came with it. The car sounds great, runs fantastic but just doesn't seem to be as quick as I thought it should be. Here is a run down of the build...please let me know what you think I may be missing.
1971 302 bored .030 to a 306, stock rods, stock crank, stock balancer,TRW flat pistons; Comp solid flat 248 dur@.050/.560/.560 lift/110 LSA/106 C/L installed straight up, Harland Sharp Full roller 1.6; World Product Victor Sr 2.02/1.60 heads milled to 58cc and minor port work; Victor Jr Single plane intake, Holley 650 Dp 66/76 jets; Timing set at 34Deg total. Running Sunoco 110 fuel. 4500 stall with 4.56 gears. Best time to date is a 12.67@108 with thick humid air (better air should put it at about a 12.3). 60' is 1.75-1.85. Car is 3200 with me in it, I am running 28x9x15 full slicks.
Any ideas are welcome...TIA
