Exclamation 2014 Mustang GT acceleration problems

Hello, I have noticed recently that my 2014 GT Premium is having some issues with acceleration. When I am cruising and decide to stomp on the gas, sometimes the car will take off and sometimes the RPMs will drop and it feels like the car lost power. Also, whenever I floor it on open roads, the RPMs will jump way up (about 6-7k) and the car wont speed up. It actually slows down until I let off the gas and let the RPMs drop back down. When driving it normally around town there are no issues at all. Has anyone else had an issue like this or have any idea of what it could be? The car is an automatic if that helps.

Would start with a diagnostics. Maybe check fuel filter, could also be a vacuum issue?
