I have a windveil 2006 Mustang GT coupe and need to replace the passenger side door several body shops said they would have to repaint over 50% of the car and completely redo the clear coat to color match the new door to the faded paint on my car. But also told me if i could find a used door from same year and color it should be very very close match to my current faded paint have been looking for over year for a used door finally found one this week but its off of a convertible. Will a convertable door work correctly on my coupe know there will may be some differences on the inner door panels but i should be able to put mine on the convertible door need to know if the convertible door will mount and work right and seal on my coupe any info or advice is appreciated thanks.

The door itself is the same, only the window is different. So you would have to swap the window from your coupe to the convertible door.
