2010redGT

Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Jeff or you can just call me 2010redGT. This past November I bought a 2010 GT with about 72,xxx miles. The car is in very good condition and I got a pretty good deal on it. I'm not sure if the exhaust is stock or aftermarket. It is VERY loud and when idling it smells strong like the car is possibly running rich. One of the previous owners put on headlight covers and dark window tint. The engine has no visible aftermarket parts such as a CAI, etc. The throttle body has a chrome "cover", so I don't know if it's just for dress up or an aftermarket TB. I'm in my mid 50's and have owned many american muscle cars over the years, including the following mustangs:
'73 with 351 cleveland 2 barrel. This was my very first car bought in '79
'90 mustang GT
'90 mustang LX 5.0 (wife's car)
'95 mustang cobra 5.0
'96 mustang cobra 4.6 quad cam
'00 mustang GT (wife's car)
I did the usual mods (chip, filter, exhaust) to all of the the '95' also had headers.

I'm very happy to be back in a mustang!



Stock exhaust tips ?

What is up with the chrome cover on the throttle body? Dress up or aftermarket?
