I just have a few amateur question, if anyone could please help me out.. does anybody know if a 1967 Stang 5apeed (289-4v V8-225) standard engine & tranny will swap with a 2003 V6 engine? has anyone ever done something like this? I’ve had my v6 for about a year now and ever since I’ve gotten it I feel like a snail... I’ve been doing some research on engine swaps and a lot of people have seem to go with the 347 stoker build, but theres a great deal that my friends dad has, he has a beautiful 1967 mustang with a fairly good condition 5speed 5.0 engine and tranny he wants to sell me for 500$ he’s a certified mechanic for about 30+ years and has been a family friend since before I was born soo I really trust him, but as I’m doing my research on this swap I can’t seem to find anyone who has done this one

 

It will probably fit, but it may not drop right in easily. Also your shifter might not line up, it would be a lot easier to swap in a 4.6 unless youre just looking for a unique project
