I just have a few amateur questions, if anyone could please help me out.. does anybody know if a 1967 Stang 5speed (289-4v V8-225) standard engine & tranny will swap with a 2003 V6 engine? has anyone ever done this or something similar to it? I’ve had my v6 for about a year now and I love it but when a gt is driving next to me... you might get the point lol I’ve I didn’t buy a GT in the first place because this car was actually givin to me as a graduation gift, and it has some meaning to me, sadly. But yea I’ve been doing some research on engine swaps and a lot of people have seem to go with the 347 stoker build? I’m fully aware of that type of swap but theres a great deal that my friends dad is giving me, he has a beautiful 1967 mustang with a fairly great condition 5speed 5.0 engine and tranny he wants to sell me for 750$ he’s a certified mechanic for about 30+ years and has been a family friend since before I was born soo I trust his opinion & judgement but I still have my own personal views & questions about this, im doing my research on this swap and I can’t seem to find anyone who has done this before soo I’m not too sure if this swap would work?
