Question 2015 V6 electronics glitch

I have a 2015 V6, auto Mustang, garage kept with only 15,000 miles (it's a sunny Sunday driver). Upon starting the engine, I began to pull out of the parking space and discovered there was no digital display on the dashboard, none of the gauges were lit up or working and the A/C would not turn on. While driving it home the power steering seemed stiff. When I turned off the engine and got out of the car, the radio would not turn off. The owners manual was of no value to solving the problem. I disconnected the battery for about 15-20 seconds to get the radio to stop. Upon restarting the engine everything appeared to be working properly. Has anybody else experienced this situation? Is there more action needed to prevent a recurrence? Is it necessary to take the car in for dealer service?

When the battery started to go bad on my 2011 Mustang and our (wife's) 2014 Edge, strange things started happening with both cars dash and gauge displays. Your battery 'might' be going bad

David, Thank you. That sounds logical. The irony is the last time I had the car in for service I specifically asked for them to check the battery because it is still the factory original (since Dec. 2014). They checked it and said it was perfectly fine. I think we're both on the same page here. Looks like I will be buying a new battery in the near future.

Most auto parts places will check the battery for you as well. Might not be a bad idea to get a second opinion before running out and buying one
