Good morning everyone. I've had my 2011 GT for about 6 excruciatingly expensive months.
Purchased from a used lot after 20 mile test drive. After doing the paperwork, I headed home, within 2 miles, it ate 2 pistons.😊 $8300 got me back on the road with a remanufactured Coyote. After replacing all front, and rear end suspension parts, I now have a new issue.
Upon letting off at highway speed, there is a distinct slap noise. Ive checked it out and it is the output bearing / bushing of the transmission. I have searched extensively as to how to replace this part and have come up dry. Have gone in as deep as removing driveshaft yoke and aluminum nut around the shaft. can't see how bushing could be removed. Hoping my last consult was wrong in telling me it had tto be done from the inside. If anyone has experience with this I would apprieciate you shareing it with me. Thank you in advance, Robert
