Default Need Help

Hello everyone and Thanks for the add to the group. I have purchased a 2004 Roush Stage 2 Mustang with 59K miles. The previous owner installed 10.5" Rear Drilled & Slotted brake rotors on the car, and they are too small (diameter). There is 1/2" of the rear brake pads not even touching the rotor. I have been trying to get information about a correct rear rotor for this car for 2 weeks now with no luck. I can't even get an answer from Roush about what rotor came on the car originally. I did find an 11.68" Drilled & Slotted rotor that fit but because it was vented it was too thick and I could not get the caliper back over the new brake pads. Hoping and praying someone here has the information I need about rear brake rotors for this car. Note: The front brakes take stock GT parts.

These are The Only Brake Offerings Listed in the 2005 Roush Catalog. For The 99-04 Models. Does Show a 10.75 Rotor on Rear.

Hope This Helps!

Pictures are Always Helpful on These Types of Questions!

And When Trying The Larger Rotor You Had Compressed the Caliper Pistons Completely with a C-Clamp?? Gotta Ask!

Mgb,

KC

I will look into the 10/75" rotor as it looks like it may be solid and not vented. I have the Snap On screw in piston caliper kit so yes, they were screwed all the way in.... Thank you for the reply!!
