So as the title states I need help building my motor or I should say getting a parts list together to build the motor. I got a 02 mustang gt with the 4.6 2v. I had the motor rebuilt about 6-7 months ago for spinning a rod bearing and now I’ve done it again. My thought is that it keeps happening cause I’m driving the car at high rpm’s while it’s still mainly stock. The car is my daily driver and I will continue to daily it after it’s done being rebuilt again. My main question for you guys is what I should do with the motor. I know absolutely nothing about motors for the most part except basic stuff. I wanna be able to push the car from time to time and not think it’s gonna spin rod bearings every-time lol. I have a full cat back h pipe exhaust system on the car a larger bbk throttle body and a cold air intake as the mods that’ll be swapped over when rebuilt again. My budget is about 4-5k in parts 6k if I really need to spend the extra money right now. My only request for this is the largest cam possible cause I want the car to have a mean chop to it when it’s built lol.
