86 SSP GT 5.0

Just picked up an 86 GT 5.0 HO SSP...really looking forward to building it up slow and steady to the 10's...now normally all cars are female..(like boats)...but it's Mustang...sorry but this baby's gonna be a Stallion..

They never made a SSP GT, all SSP car coupes.

Acctually they were not all coupes some were hatches too. But they never had a SSP in the GT body style just the Lx.

Well...going off the VIN number it's a SSP...and it's a 5.0 HO Hatch...haven't pulled it apart yet for the build sheet but I will one of these days.

And as for my plans...not too sure yet...right now I need to get her all cleaned up properly...luckily she's all in good condition as she's my daily driver for right now...so I've got to take it a little slow on what I do. First of all has to be a short shifter though...I've got a torn shoulder...and the shifter is just far too long for comfort. After that..who knows...maybe some GT40P heads...
