Default newbe

hi! looking forward to making my slo5.0 fast. i've already picked up alot of useful info. i bought my car out of a salvage yard(89 lx conv. 5.0 auto) lite front damage with 70000 miles. this car is a blast! wife and kids like it to. some mods already,k&n,removed fender box,strut tower brace,pony wheels,flowmaster w/tips,new conv.top,subframe conn. thanks for having me!

cool welcome.

not sure if you plan on going to the dragstrip, but jsut so you know after your 13.49 and faster in a 'vert you need a cage.

just someything to think about, but if your fatser you can still go and usually just run 1/8th mile and they will cool w/ that.

a gear swap will be the funnest , most noticible and cheapest mod you can do. especially in an aod.

3.73's or just "ok" 4.10's will will be great.

your existing gears (if they are stock) can be found in the door tag..."ax" code m=2.73, z=3.08, e=3.27

nitrous bob, i think they're 2.73. i have 225-55-16 tires , i can't spin them when i floor it!!!!!!!! is this sad or what? on the pos.side it does save on tire replacement!
