Well, another good night for me...

Got 2 more runs in the 14.1's and another in the 14.2. Damn, I'm liking those D/R's

Somehow, I don't think either Casper or Dajawu will be proud of their performances though. But it was good to meet them (again), along with JPC.

Yeah, didn't end up making it.
Got back around 6 at my house so I very well could have thrown the tires on and shot up there.
But don't really know what they injected me with, and was a little sleepy.

Oh well, there's always next wednesday.

I did awful, you wouldn't even know I had a mustang. Keep in mind though this was my first time to a track in my life. I couldn't launch to save my life. The first few launches I think I was letting off the clutch to quick with so the car wanted to stall, then my last few run I spun them up way to much. My best time for the night was 15.675@95.35 w/ 2.749 60'. Other then the horible times I had a good time and got to meet some nice guys from the board. I am now going to look into drag radials because these street tires do nothing for me.

Oh, there's a lot left in just street tires.
You just need to know what you're doing.
You drove around the water box right?
Don't bother burning up the tires, it wont help.
Spin em a little as you're pulling up to the tree to clean them off, but dont do a burnout.
Find a comfort zone of accelerating up near where the tires will break loose and go with that.
I have and can cut a 2.0 on street tires with my lowered car.
On average most people do 2.1-2.2's
Just practice man, you'll get it down

dajawu, did you remember to turn off the traction control on your last run?

So OB, you gonna be ok? Or are you still going under the knife?

I tried to look for you after the race but I couldn't so I just left. My last run I turned off the traction control, but all that got me was more tire spin but at least I had a little more control over it. I don't know what I ran because their printers screwed up and they didn't have a slip for me so that kind of sucked!
