I was right in front of the waterbox as well! I approx. 4 steps from the top. The reason for all the shutdowns was because of **** on the track and checking out why people almost kept hitting the walls. lol. I was sitting there with my buddy. And then Jmac and his g/f were with us.

 

How funny is that, I probably walked past you a few times. I'm sure you didn't recognize me, but I was walking around with my girl and a camera case. I was about half way up in the same section as you. There was a guy and a girl two rows down from me but other than that I was unaware of my surroundings. Did you happen to see that blonde with the white shirt? I did.

 

I also sat in the 1st set of bleachers, but on the side away from the water box. Since you guys were nearer the waterbox, surely you must have seen me stall on my 1st attempt to do a burnout on the elimination run..[&:] tried to do it in 2nd gear, but I guess the tires weren't wet enough. Went to 1st and did a good one that time....

And yeah, Wed. looks to be the better of the 2 days. Hope I can get this line lock in tomorrow night....

 

yeah im going up tomorrow (10-05-05) and thats most likely the last day for me til the spring. so hopefully nothing goes wrong so i don't have to spend a ton of money getting it towed back and knowing my luck that will happen[:@] i was gonna try to go up friday as well but it looks like rain as stated previously. then its off to save for some of my bigger mods. hope to see some of you there.

DILo...Im still on the fences about comming tmrw. Im thinking it may be time to just put her up for the winter. I dont really feel like running up to Epping tmrw either. Oh well... im sure i will hear about it.

 

yeah i don't what more i can expect from my car. i mean i have hit a 1.81 60 ft. 2 weeks ago so if i can hit that again with a full bottle i plan on hitting 12.4-12.5 which would make me happy. although the whole point for me of going up is to beat my best which im sure is everybodies goal. i know my car is capable just not sure if its going to be tomorrow.

Yep Casper thats the one. She is actually in two of my pictures 'by mistake'. I will post my Tasca pictures when I get the time. You should come up tonight just for the group pictures we are going to take! I will defenatly be up there. So who is going? Just me and DILO?

 

yeah so my girlfriends gonna make me a lil late tonight so i won't be there til 6:30 - 7. the latest although i don't want to make too many runs cuz i am afraid that i have been lucky so far without breaking anything and don't want to ruin that. but i'll be there definitely its just a matter of when i arrive. actaully **** i gtg get ready now i didn't realize what time it was

Well, I went, and did see dajawu and jpc. But other than that, it was a wasted trip. Why? I just couldn't hook at the line tonite. I dunno what was going on, but a lot of guys running d/r's were complaining about the traction on the line (me being one of them). Maybe it was just the left lane, but the best I could run tonite was in the 14.5's (3 times). What was weird was on the burnouts, the tires would just grab and literally push the car. But at the line when I went to go, they would spin like they were street tires. Which brings up another weird thing. Seems like the street tires were hooking up good tonite.

I dunno, but I left about 7:30 feeling disgusted at my runs. What can I say, I felt like a spoiled rotten teenage brat....
