hot rod magazine is putting on a flying mile in wilmington ohio. how all is going to go, i heard friday night some of our local stangbangerz are going to cruise around wilmington and i say the more the merrier!!!

I'm sure I'll be there either way. I'm in South Florida, but my friend is getting married in Kentucky on Saturday the 28th and I'm in the wedding, so I'm planning to drive up to Dayton, visit with family, and catch the event on Sunday.

I really want to race UPR's True Street car there, because it should easily top 200mph in the mile. But we're still finishing it up literally as we speak, and our engine builder says the torque converter (which was designed for quarter mile) might not work well in the mile.

I'll post up on the board when I figure out for sure what day I'll be there and which car I'm bringing.

would live to see that UPR car up here hope it get's finished in time. Wish i had a car that was able to do it but my fox is still under construction and will not be finished by april.

Nickel hope to see you there, hopefully we have enough mustangs to cruise the area friday evening, the new bypass for 73 opened up and it's nice and smooth!

April 28th and 29th wilmington air park in wilmington ohio (it's the old airborne runways) don't know entry or spectator fee or if there will be one (probably will be, hot rod magazine is sponsoring this event for an upcoming magazine) and the cruise should be friday night around wilminton, probably meeting up at wal-mart (details not hased out yet) and will cruise through the small town of wilmington.
