Engine ticks after Mobil 1, Castrol Edge, Pennzoil Ultra
If I switch back to Motorcraft will the engine stop ticking?

If you are currently using a 5W-20, try a 5W-30. If that doesn't work, you probably have a bad/stuck lash adjuster, and it needs to be replaced.

I'm using 5W-20 but the previous oil change was Castrol Edge that was 5W-30 and still ticked.

Take it to the dealer, you probably are having issues with a valve lash adjuster.
