I, like other members voted for 50, but i've been screaming this for a while now. I would go so far as to say 100 and if they had something to sell, they'd have to get permission from a mod to post. I would also like for the sellers to be required to give more detailed info so the person who is the potential buyer, doesn't get screwed out of a buttload of cash. I've seen it happen here many of times where someone just unloads a payment into a paypal acct without confirming any info on the seller. I hate nothing more than a thief! This is a start, hopefully the mods will continue to look for ways to better the process.

without a doubt. 50post! and just a suggestion we should add a trader feedback score next to ppl's name like SVTP / Corral n such have... it'd make the ease of dealing w/ sellers alot better than searching a thread full of ppl's name, page after page hoping theres on on there...

50 is a good number i guess. 100 might be a little much. It took me a while to get 100 posts because when I first joined I didn't know anything, therefore I didn't post a lot

I like the idea of having a either a minimum post requirement or a minimum membership time. It will not, however, stop scams completely. It may slow them down, but anybody can come on here, post a couple hundred times in random sections, and then pull a scam off. If you are reading this and have a little time, go through the following link:

I myself nearly got suckered into this scam. I thought the guy to be a regular around the board, and a pretty honest guy; guess I was wrong. He had obviosly been planning this out and struck when the time was right: Christmas. My point is that it is a good idea, but don't expect that to instantly stop scams.

I voted 50. It's not hard to have fun with 50 posts. If you can't handle posting that much before you sell, then you joined for the wrong reason!
I had 50 posts in my first day.

Don't believe me? Near 600 posts after only about a month of being here. I'm a little hyper on these forums. Just look at the mess I cause in the S197 section.

Well, most of the comments on here seem to come from members who alreadt have their 50 post count. So...they do not have to worry about anything. I know that turboford has a min. count of 5 and some other forums do not have any requirements. It is true that the internet is full of untruthful people looking to scam others. But...it is a world of buyer beware---if someone has 1 post and is selling a blower for 50 bucks, then you should know that something is wrong...

i voted 50, but would feel better if they have at least 100.

i won't buy anything from people with less than that anyway.
