I recently came across a 9" rear end that was put in a s-10 drag truck. It has been narrowed with a 4:10 gear and the guy i got if from said that it had Strange Chrome-Moly axles in it. axle housing is 40 1/8 in.
passanger side axle is twisted.
small bolt ford ( 96-04 mustang bolt pattern)
