Nitrus scares me.. I remember hearing long ago that it eats up the inside of your motor so I can't bring my self to get it.. I think its safer these days on newer engines but I'm sure it does cause damage..

I love horsepower but I can't bring my self to hurt my baby in that way.. =(
Nitrous is just as safe as a supercharger or turbocharger as long as it is installed correctly and the safty precautions are taken..

Cool man, any specific brand I should go for?? I'm leaning towards a nx dry kit.
NX isn't a dry kit, they are wet.

Good info nitrous bob, do most kits come with a fuel pressure safety gauge?
other than the compucar "bottle-in-a-bag" kit ( which squirts b4 the maf to richen up the mix) all the new kits have a fuel pressure saftey switch.

you remove the schrader valve on the fuel rail (where you would hook a FP guage) and it has 2 connectors on it.

if fp falls off...no contact is made and the nitrous either stops...or never starts.

NOS, zex, and edelbrock have them for sure, and i'm quite positive they all do. if not it's probably a $20 part , and can be used on any kit, it just interrupts the circuit to the selonoids.
