Default Turbo?

Is there anywhere i can find information on building my own turbo. I am thinking about doing this to my 302, or if anybody has ever tried this let me know how it turned out.

Default Turbo?

Several years ago there was an article in MMFF about building a twin turbo '86 stang with a stock motor using parts from 2.3 turbo cars. If I remember correctly, they used part of a Mack truck radiator to create an intercooler. I think it made a stock '86 run in the 10's by the time they were done. If I can find the article, I will post what mag it was in.

On the new kills thread converted listed a site that sells a TT setup for a reasonably decent price.

If you want to check out some turbo and twin turbo kits pre-made go to cartech's website. I am currently saving to turbo my 90 GT but i cant decide if I want to do single turbo(with a big turbo, T70 or so) or if I want to custom make a twin turbo kit. The benefits of the twin turbo kit not necessarily being more power but quicker power. I guess time and money will tell.

I dont know much about Turbos but I think a Twin setup will give you less turbo lag. Am I right in thinking this?

What he said. Elsewhere in the world Subaru has been selling the WRX since the early '90s. They've also been selling twin turbo Legacy models. Both have the same 276hp (legal limit in Japan I gather) max power, but the Legacy is more of a luxury sedan whereas the Impreza is a sport sedan, so the single turbo with brutish lag was more appealing.
