window switch question
I ordered the digital window window switch from MSD for my nitrous and was wondering where I should hook into to get a tach signal for the box. Is there one place that is better than another?
Use the directions for single cylinder and hook it up on one of the closer coil packs. Mine is under the fuel pressure sendind unit in the pic.

Ok, I know I should hook it to the negative wire coming out of the coil pack. Now this may be a stupid questions but I don't want to get this wrong. There is a red wire coming out of each coil pack and a colored wire (different color depending on the coil) with a stripe down it. I am guessing the red wire is the positive and the striped wire is the ground but I really want to make sure since I don't have a volt meter.
Also, is there a good way to test the window switch before I throw the nitrous on it. I would hate to have it wired wrong and end up spraying at 1800 RPM's or something stupid like that.

Look at the lower left corner it is on the striped wire. As far as testing, I always leave the bottle turned off and arm it then floor it to see if the soleniods (sp) kick in. You also need to do this several times if you have a fuel pressure switch to keep them from chattering from the surge.
