Turbo question?

Turbo question?
I have an 88 5.0 GT that I'm currenlty working on. I'm going to get a turbo system in a month or so. I also wan to stoke it. My question is what stroker would you use when adding a turbo. I was thinking about doing a 306 or 331 with turbo. I've just seen people with the 306 with turbo never the 331. Thats why I'm asking. I'm for sure not doing a 347 with turbo. The stroke is way to long for turbo plus I've heard nothing but bad things about it. Also what gear ratio would you go with? A 327 or 355?? Like to hear some opinions. Thanks!

RE: Turbo question?
I would go with a low compression 8.5-9 :1 331. 331 make crazy power when blown I have seen quite a few and they are freaking stout! Although you could stay stock and still get lots of power with the turbo. You don't really need a stroker. Although a 306 would run really nicely to.

RE: Turbo question?
I'm just saving up some money so I can get my 331. Already have the turbo kit. I have 3.08 in it right now and think I'm gonna keep'em. If your gonna turbo your car never NEVER go anything higher than 3.55 unless it's a car thats not really a street car and is used mainly for drag racing. Think about it. Why would you wanna shift a sec. after going into boost? If I were you I would get lower gearing like the 3.08 or even 2.73's. YOu wanna stay in boost for as long as possible. Granted it it's a drag car you obviously don't want long gearing BUT usually cars like that are spraying through the quarter too.
But that is just my opinion.
