i would like to know if putting a whole new 2.5 catless exhaust system on my mustang would make it louder than what i have now, just welded in 2 chamber flowmaster mufflers and a off-road x-pipe, thanks for the help

 

Well all I had at first was the flows 40 series and the stock H pipe. Then I put my Xhaust on and it really crunk it up. Catlsee is always louder and better! You will like it a lot I think! Have you got it on or is it being installed?

 

i don't have the exhaust system yet, i was just wanting to get some opinions before i got the whole exhaust system, which exhaust system should i get

 

I would go with a quality 2 1/2" off road X pipe, stainless steel prefered, and a set of mangapacks if you like it loud. Im gonna switch mine sooner or later to magnapacks. Get a set of long tube headers also. I got the MAc ceramic coated and they still look brand new. Get a system like that and you're looking at an extra 25 to 35 HP. And it will sound awsome!

 

Look at SLP. In this month's MM&FF they put LT's, Catted X, and Loud Mouth exhaust on a '96 or '97 auto coupe GT and shaved an entire second off of their time!
