I am going to be building a 351w, which will eventually get a turbo or 2 (www.turbochargedpower.com). Does anyone have an estimate on a good compression ratio, one that would be turbo-friendly? I was thinking maybe about 8.5, but I dont't know...

 

Forged internals along with a low compression ratio make for the capability of a crapload of boost!! Do it!

 

Hey hey sounds good to me! Any reccomendations as for the original comp. ratio though? Something like 8.5:1 maybe?

 

Ya, I think it is 8:5:1 mine is 9:0:1 and I know the five oh's are lower.
