I'm looking to get flowmaster 40 series mufflers...

1) What size should i get? 2.25...2.5...3
a) i'm stock exhaust
2) Best place to buy?

c) or should i go local?
3)I've been doing some searching on these..and some guys talked about droning.

i bought a pair and that is the cheapest place i could get them or atleast the cheapest i could find them. i went with 2.25" because i have the stock exhaust and didnt want to have to mess around with reducers to get the mufflers to fit right. the mufflers i bought were new and they sound great although they do drone but you get used to it. a drone is kind of just where the exhaust is pretty loud at a certain rpm and on these mufflers it seems to drone around like 1600-2000 rpms on my car.

its gonna be 2.5 i believe, you should look into getting the series 10 race mufflers. there a little bit shorter but alot louder.then slap on an Xpipe and it will sound amazing!

It came with 2.25"

Just curious, ruffrider4403, why did you recommend 2.5"
