I just bought this kit on ebay....could you guys tell me what all i will have to get to make it work on my sixer??

looks like you need a cai and just swap the filters, but Ive never seen it put through the filter.Ive always seen through the intake pipe. the kit looks like it will work possibly a plus for it going through the filter is that it will cool more air which = more power.

 

by squirting there, it spikes fp by cooling the maf

not the greatest way to do it, but not the worst.

i'm curious why there is also a vac control though ? it should be one or the other, spikes from vac, or spikes from freezing the maf.

either way, you need nothing else, but you should get a msd box and a heater. if you don't heat the bottle , the pressure will be super low and you won't the gains, plus you'll waste nitrous. the msd is just to ensure your firing hot, and you'll want to close your plugs down to about .035" (what are yours stock ?? you want to goabout .015" ---.020" smaller than stock)

the white wire from the box hooks to the tps (just splice it in) it activates at WOT
i don't see the arming switch, but if it's not there, they are about $5 at any autozone / kragens / pep boys etc.

late ron you may want a purge to mess w/ people, and also a remote bottle opener when you get tired of having to get in the trunk to crack it open. but to get going, just what i said. fp safety switch isn't a bad idea either, but if your fuel system is sound you'll be fine.

 

ok i just wanted to make sure i was good to go...i will get a purge as soon as i can and maybe a heater and fp gauge....one other thing i want.i want the 3 gauge pillar to go beside my door...what three gauges would be good to go in it with my nitrous???

so its just gonna be sitting here, in a box. I have the purge nozzle as well as the fitting for it too... included of course

another question...the zex intstructions on the websites says stick the nitrous hose in the intake "after" the maf but if i use the filter its going to be "before" the maf....what should i do??
