i was browsing some engine swap sites when i came to a link for instructions on a 302 hp v10 Ford Lightning engine swap. as soon as i saw it, it blew my mind instead of swapping to a 4.7L to a 6.3L(i think it is). Last I checked for Lightning had a 5.4L blown V8

 

And the 281 is a 4.6L
Dodge has a 287 which is a 4.7L, but I don't think it'd bolt in without some custom fabricating.

I'd rather have boosted motor...less weight, more power (SVT doesn't exactly drop power figures......)

 

Oldschool lightnings were nothing special. IIRC they'd get their *** handed to them easily by a 454ss.
