what i really meant isis the supercharger the same from a 5.0 as a 4.6, i heard its just a different mounting bracket, supposedly it sits backwards on a 4.6, so i tr to call vortech and no answer.....stereotypical help line, but whatever, the first time when i called to see if an 02 would work ona 98 they were very helpful

 

If it's a centrifugal system, then yes. The only differences that I can see would be the mounting bracket, piping, and electronics if it comes with fuel management (I'm not sure on that last one since I don't know if they use the same computers).

Centrifugal blowers are pretty much non-car-specific. Same with juice. It's just that with swapping into another car, certain parts will have to be custom to get it to fit.

 

the sc should work just need the rest of it to hook it up to the 4.6

 

what about 5.0 injectors? will they work ina 4.6?

 

Assuming they physically fit, you have o-rings that will seal properly, can tap into your fuel rail, and will accept signals from you computer, sure!

But that goes for any/all injectors.

 

Yea the fuel injectors will work fine. Although they are the same size injectors.

 

no, he has bigger sized ones i would buy off him with the blower, i forget what size.,....what size are the stock ones?

 

Their 19 lb injectors, thats what comes on stock mustangs. 5.0s and 4.6's.
