Thinking about fabbing up an intercooler. Is a water to air worth the extra money and hassle or would an air to air give me close to teh same results? Just trying to understand how much better one is than the other.

for the street you want air to air, plus its cheaper and you don't have to move the battery

ok i got a kb on a 94 5.0 i just want to make sure if i get an air to air i will get my moneys worth. what does the 03 04 cobra have stock?

can you do air-air on a KB? i think you have to go air-water. the KB's have the cooler under it and then you run water lines to a tank. for a daily driver i think there is a small raditor for keeping the water cool that mounts in front of the motor's radiator

Ya for the 4.6 that is how it is setup. They dont have anything that would work on a 5.0. So i figured fabbing up some kind of air to air intercooler that would take air in and then throught the cooler and back out to the engine. Not too sure if that would work or how well since the intercooler would be before the boost.

Well i called up kenne bell and i found out they will be in about a year have a whole new supercharger kit for the 5.0 with an intercooler so that kinda sux since i just got mine about not even a year ago. So anyone thinking about getting one for a 5.0 id ask them about it and wait little longer. But i did find out that i can run that methanol injection in it. With it in the intake tube and run it through the supercharger with no problems. So i guess i wont be fabbin up an air to air after all. Thanks for responses.
