how much whp
Actually yeah I was told buy alot of people that the shot size isn't the true wheel hp number. I actually think NOS told me this awhile back when I was having trouble jetting the car. If I remember right its 75% of the shot number that you will recieve in wheel horse power. Ill call them tomorrow
I was going to add that in all fairness, some companies do rate it at the crank and others rate it at the wheels. It would technically depend on company. But I still think the original answer is funnier.
it's just like any added power....depends on your tranny really
autos lose more than stick cars
and i disagree......although you lose hp through parasitic drag, nitrous also has the benefit of being extremely cold and dense
3 diff cars....3 diff kits here was my ET cut
75 jets NOS 5115 = - .8 seconds
100 jets ZEX dry = -1.5 seconds
80 jets NOS 5115 = -1 second
by the rule of thumb (every 100 hp = 1 sec cut) my 100 jets reacted like 150 jets and so on, my 75 jets were actually smaller....i had +1 fuel and -1 nitrous so it was phat, possibly like a 65 shot
