If you are running it non-intercooled then run the 8lb pulley. If you are intercooled or running meth, then put the 10lb pulley on it. I wouldnt recommend the 12lb at all.

boost is mearly a measure of pressure in the intake. set yourself a hp goal and then ask us what pulley to run.

what size is the 10lb pulley?
i hit 10psi with a 3" pulley and a power pipe. a buddy of mine runs a 2.95 pulley and hits 12psi but he has a very restrictive intake. like i said before,. boost is pretty much irrelivant, its the hp goal that should deturmine the pulley you buy.

well my v2sq is being installed right now so i dont knwo the exact hp numbers yet butthe guy i bought it from had a 2.87 pulley and a 3.60 pulley...i told the shop to put on the 3.60 so we willl see what numbers i get with the v2sq, my list of mods and the tune. then i guess i will go from there..im debating on a smaller pulley, a powerpipe or a powerpipe with a slightly smaller pulley

I wish I had my smaller pulley when we were bolting the S/C on,
now I have to put it on, and get another tune.

3.60 is what you need....its 6-8psi. 3.33 is 10-12 psi.......and 3.12 is 12-14psi

you cant just run however much boost you want trying to hit a specific HP goal. Detonation comes into play after so much depending on if you have an intercooler or not and how much timing is pulled. Too much timing pulled will cause driveablility problems. The reason why you cant run alot of boost is because of your motors stock compression ratio. If you lowered your compression ratio then you could run alot of boost. But say you tried to run 15psi on stock compression looking for 400whp, it wouldnt be possible because of detonation even if it were intercooled or not.

it all depends on what you have done. i've seen guys running 10psi on a 3.6 and others running 6-7psi on a 3.6 pulley. intake, fuel, exhaust and other factors will determine how much boost you have. try the3.6 first so you have a baseline of what kind of boost your going to make.
