turbo timers?
Man, has this been posted before lol. I will once again go on my rant about these. A turbo timer is a device which runs your car after you turn the key off for a set period of time. In theory, it is to allow your oil to cool (which in turn will cool your turbos bearings) before shutdown after running the turbo hard. Personally, I think they are a waste of money. Something ricers like to buy for obscure reasons, much like their picnic table wings. As long as you dont drive everywhere like an idiot (with full boost going constantly) you dont need it. There are plenty of serious turbo cars running out there on the street without one. If you are running at full boost, you should be smart enough to not stop and shut the car down immediately. For regular daily driving, it is not needed as the turbo doesnt get hot enough at part throttle conditions to require it.
For anyone who disagrees, this is my OPINION, but I have been into racing and working on cars for a long time and I have a tech school degree in automotive and am currently working on a college degree in automotive engineering. Hope this helps.

ya thanks. i coun't really see a big need for smoething like that and its always the jap crap you see them on and if thats all they do its sounds like a waste of money to me. expecially since i live out in the sticks, the turbo's would get plenty of cooling on the drive home.
