Default MAF problem?

I finally finished the install of my Paxton SN 93 supercharger this weekend. I installed 30# injectors with the matching sensor (used in my 76mm C+L housing) I DID NOT change the sample tube. The supercharger kit came with the fuel management unit (looks like a vaccum operated booster pump for the fuel). Right off the bat the car seemed to be running rich, it has amazing power at full throttle, but wont idle and the plugs are very black. I also have a check engine light on now. Does the sample tube make that big of a difference? I know I need to have it dyno tuned for optimum performance but would like to get it at least running ok before I go to the dyno. You can see the rest of my engine build in my signature. Any suggestions?

If i had your setup-which is rather nice- the next thing id be sure to invest in is a stand alone engine managment system. You will be able to get the absolute maximum efficiency from all of your parts, with just a few hours of dyno time and you would have full tuneablity anytime. But as for the problem at hand a flash tuner seems like it may remedy your troubles.
