I was wondering if i bought flowmaster mufflers could i put them on my stock pipes....Or is this what someone would normally do with flowmasters.... to me on ebay companies descriptions are mustang exhasut with flowmaster mufflers....if this is the case then i could do the same right? If i did do this would it still sound better or not? Last question is it hard to install it on your own?

 

Flowmaster makes a kit that that is axle back. basically the mufflers and enough pipe to connect to the stock H pipe

 

I had weld ins for ever with no problems and it sounded great, got 2.5 mandrel bent piping made for it later down the road to get rid of the rusty pipes

 

You can putthem on the stock setup but it wont sound as good. Get the American thunder or ForceII catback as a minimum and get a midpipe if you have the money. The best setup is with headers, midpipe and catbacks.
