Default Performance Upgrades

Recently purchased my first Mustang... 2008 GT

Looking into putting in a supercharger, trying to decide between roush or saleen? any suggestions/opinions

Also anyone have any suggestions on exhaust systems? Leaning towards corsa setup with x pipe and headers...

Any suggestions or setups you have would be appreciated, I plan on using the car for occasional daily driving thanks

choices on blowers ??? neither

ati orvortech would be my debate

the rest is mostly personal prefereance, try to check out diff cars w/ diff exhaust setups....when you see what you really like (it's about sound not performance really) get that

first off, get some 4.10 gears and see what that car can really do

should be the first mod for every mustang owner

and finally

CONGRATS !!!!!

Saleen > roush. Whipple,kb also great ts choices. Saleen makes more power.
Exhaust setup: A setup with long tubes,x, and corsa should be good. Don't know if the corsa will sound good with an x though.

my vote is saleen. maybe because that is what i have. very fun to drive around town. unless you get on it you (or anyone else) won't know its there. very clean look under the hood. welcome to the forum......this place can answer any questions you have.

between those two, I would say Saleen. BUT, if you are looking for Twin Screw blowers like the Roush and Saleen, I would look at Kenne Bell. For the money, I would go w/ that. It is all what you are looking for.

Thanks for the help guys, I ended up going with the Saleen blower.

Any suggestions on an exhaust system?

I am currently debating between kooks headers and a X pipe or jba long tubes with a H pipe. From what i've read so far on the forums the x pipe is going to give me a raspier sound and an H pipe will give it a muscle car sound? I want the car to have a aggressive muscle car sound that wont have too much drone when just cruising.

Thanks again for the help
