No I had some help with the hot-side fab work.
I just got all the parts together and everything ready.

Finally got the motor back and new k-member in so I can re-do the downpipes
for better clearance.

Fresh hone, rings and bearings on the short block
We are not sure where engine problem was, but thinking it was improper intake to head seal.

New AJE K-member installed.
Also upgraded/replaced A-Arm bushings, sway bar bushings, end links, ball joint, slotted brake rotors, MM brake lines
MM strut tower brace, MM k-member brace and wheel bearings, while it was all apart

Also have have the hot-side, intake and intercooler back from coating.
intercooler is coated in their "thermal dispersant" coating which improves i/c efficiency

Ok, new downpipes are done.

Kinda of proud of myself. Did these all by myself.
Really wasnt hard to do at all using $180 metal cut-off miter saw and $250 gasless MIG welder.

Dont laugh at how bad some of the welds are.
Using a gasless wire feed welder for first time ever. Get someone to weld up the rest nicer.

Still have to run the wastegate pipes into the new downpipes, but shouldn't take long.

Driverside

Passenger side

New SLP Loudmouth cat-back installed

Highly customized stock H-pipe hanger bracket made to work with my TKO
to help hold everything up.

Just waiting on downpipes to come back from coaters and last few
couplers to come and will be done.

Hope to have it on the dyno this time next week.

Intercooler is in.
Took some trimming and cutting and is a pretty tight squeeze, but
radiator, a/c condensor and intercooler all fit.

Got last of the front bumper trimming done also

I will line the edges with some glued on vac hose to give
the new holes a bit of a "finished" look.

Also drilled a lot of 1" holes all along the bottom edge of
the bumper core support to let air flow through it.

Should get some nice air flow thru the intercooler now and 3.5"
intercooler piping looks cool as hell sticking out of the bumper a little.

At 10-12psi there is no need and I'm going to be already
pusing the engine to it's limits at 600-625rwhp without it anyway.

If just have to spend some more money on it someday ..... maybe get an
intercooler CO'2 spray bar set-up.

Thanks for the idea on cutting holes in the bumper cover for better intercooler air flow.
Chaulk that one up to your set-up I saw way back when you did it.
